Welcome to WanderDisney, a curated database of Disney related locations from around the world. Read more about us here.
The best way to explore our site is by map view. Each location on our site has its own marker on the home page map. Click on one, then click the SHOW MORE button and you’ll be lead to a page describing the location along with information about its connection to Disney, photos, useful links, and information on how to visit the location in real life.
Each location is assigned to a specific category and location tag that allows you to explore the site using either. You’ll find links to these in the menu bar (look for Wander by Category and Wander by Location). Category and location pages show you which locations are assigned to them on a map as well as in list form underneath.
These pages may also have sub-pages to help you find what you’re looking for. For example: the Filming Locations category has a sub-category for Star Wars Filming Locations. If you click the sub-category, it will take you to a similar page, pairing down the locations as you go.
There’s also a search tool on each page that allows you to search for the location you’re looking for. You’ll find this near the bottom of the map, or at the top of the page (for pages that don’t have a map).
For example: let’s say you want to find out where all the locations from Soarin’ Around the World were filmed. You can simply type Soarin as the keyword and choose a category like Filming Locations. The results will show up on the next page on both a map and in list form. Check out the results by clicking here.
We also have a blog that digs further into the details, provides travel tips and tricks for visiting your favorite WanderDisney location, and more fun facts that link the WanderDisney locations together. You can find a link to the blog on the menu bar or by clicking here.
You can search blog posts on certain pages where you’ll see the heading Search The Blog – this will display only results from the blog which distinguishes it from the location search mentioned above. Try it out wherever you see the Search The Blog form, like the one below:
That’s about it! So, go ahead and give it a try: click around till you learn something new. If you like what you see, let us know by leaving a comment or contacting us.
