The El Capitan Theatre is a fully restored movie theater in the heart of Hollywood, CA. The theater is operated by Buena Vista Theatres, Inc., a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. As such, the theater regularly shows both first-run and classic Disney movies as well as hosts a majority of the Walt Disney Studios’ film premieres and events.
The exterior of the theater played the role of the “Muppet Theatre” in Disney’s 2011 film, The Muppets (2011).
