Haakon’s Hall (or Håkonshallen in Norwegian) is a building within the Bergenhus Fortress castle complex, one of the oldest and best-preserved fortresses in Norway.
This 13th-century medieval stone hall, built during the reign of its namesake, King Håkon Håkonsson, is the design inspiration for the facade entrance to Frozen Ever After, the attraction that replaced Maelstrom in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion.
