The real Pont des Arts Bridge in Paris

The Pont des Arts Bridge is a pedestrian bridge crossing the River Seine to link Paris’ Institut de France and the Palais du Louvre. This bridge was the design inspiration for the bridge connecting Epcot’s France and UK Pavilions.

In Pixar’s Cars 2, the bridge is seen briefly as the gang arrives in Paris. The bridge’s iconic trestle design is made from automobile leaf springs (a part used in car suspensions) in the Cars universe.
