The Sistine Chapel is a chapel in the Vatican City complex in Rome, Italy. It houses some of the most famous fresco paintings in the world including Michelangelo‘s ceiling masterpiece, The Creation of Adam. It took this Renaissance painter nearly four years to complete the entirety of the chapel’s interior.

Although historically incorrect in its depiction, a scene of Michelangelo on his back painting this world famous ceiling can be found in animatronic form inside Epcot’s Spaceship Earth attraction.
