Epcot’s Stave Church Gallery is a small museum housing a rotating display of Norwegian artifacts. The building is a 4/5th scale replica (with the exception of crosses removed from its roof) of Norway’s 12th century Gol Stave Church. The original church was moved from Gol in 1884 and now lives at The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum) in Oslo, Norway.
Besides this, there are two other replicas of the Gol church: one near its original site in Norway and one in North Dakota’s Scandinavian Heritage Park.
