Tokyo DisneySea is a 176-acre theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, just outside Tokyo. It opened on September 4, 2001 and is owned by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses Disney characters and themes from The Walt Disney Company.
S.S. Columbia is a recreation of an early 20th-century grand ocean liner drawing design inspiration from the Queen Mary (a real steam-ship now moored as a hotel in Long Beach, California) and similar White Star Line ships of the time period. The ship resides in the New York Harbor section of the American Waterfront part of Tokyo DisneySea and houses two restaurants (S.S. Columbia Dining Room and The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge) and one attraction (Turtle Talk). Official Information: TokyoDisneyland.com

Soaring: Fantastic Flight is a family attraction which gives the sensation of hang-gliding across 12 different world-famous landmarks. The ride is based on Soarin’ Over California, an innovative attraction which debuted in 2001 in Disney California Adventure. On June 16, 2016, Shanghai Disneyland opened with a revamped version of this ride called Soaring Over the Horizon featuring a unique ending. The next day, both Disney California Adventure’s version and Epcot’s version were updated to the new film and given the new name Soarin’ Around the World. Each version of this ride contains an exclusive fireworks finale scene. This version of Soarin’ made its way to Tokyo DisneySea on July 23, 2019. Its ride film is identical to the others, with the removal of the Eiffel Tower scene in favor of an extended flyover finale of Tokyo’s skyline featuring the iconic Tokyo Tower. Ride Details Replacing the Eiffel Tower with Tokyo Tower is ironic since the design of the Tokyo version is based heavily on the famous Parisian structure. DisneySea’s Venetian Gondolas attraction takes guests, 16 at a time, on a romantic, 12-minute journey through the park’s recreation of Venice’s famed canals.
